Ottumwa -- Steven Ihm, who as a freshman helped lead Indian Hills to the 2011 NJCAA Division I national title, has enjoyed a successful first season at the University of Iowa.
Ihm was named a second-team All-Big Ten golfer and is one of the leaders on a Hawkeye team that was selected this week to compete in the NCAA Regional competition May 17-19 in Athens, Ga.
Ihm was named Big Ten Golfer of the Week after his second-place finish at the Rod Myers Invitational in the fall season and finished in the top 20 in all three stroke-play events this spring.
